Hello and welcome.
We are Murphy and Vanita, a husband-and-wife team, and the owners of Green Mango Vietnamese Restaurant. We started our food journey back in 2006 when we opened our Vietnamese restaurant right here in Regents Park. It has been a challenging ride with long hours and hard work. But the rewards have been so much greater. From the food experience we create for our local clientele, to the relationships we have built with others within our service area. After 13 years of managing the restaurant, we wanted to share our cuisine to a wider audience. So, in 2019 we closed our restaurant and embarked on our events catering journey.
Events catering has opened our business in ways we never imagined possible. Our food has evolved to better suit events, as opposed to a sit-down meal, but our flavours remain quintessentially the same.
We are also the creators of the BoodleGraze®, which is a play on the traditional Filipino boodle fight where food is laid directly on banana leaves and guests are left to ‘fight’ for their food. Our BoodleGraze® consists of our Vietnamese food artistically laid flat on banana leaves or with the addition of props to create a more luxurious table. Regardless of which style, we endeavour to create our grazing tables to be the wow factor at each event.
